Towards the Eternal Life - Bosnia Edition

Posted on Wed, 2017-11-08 10:17

The World Federation's Bosnia Desk continues to serve the needs of external Tableegh in Bosnia.  One of the biggest focuses is on Tableegh through publications. Alhamdulillah, we have translated and published 1000 copies of the book Towards Eternal Life by Shaykh Bahmanpour (translated by Abbas Jaffer). This book explains what happens to us when we leave this world in a rational and logical way. The Bosnian community has benefited tremendously from this publication as many didn’t know much about life after death and were curious to find out more. This book is thought-provoking and has given us knowledge of the final destination.

This book was distributed to all our community members, including libraries of some religious institutions like madrasas, and cultural centres in Bosnia.

We are planning to have more books printed in the future on other topics, as this book has proven to be a success.

Feedback from a reader from Bosnia: "I was under the impression that intercession is a matter of personal choice and that the great personalities can decide to intercede for whomever they wanted. But I have found in the book that everything on the Day of Judgment is regulated by an orderly system that does not alter at the wish or choice of individuals”.

After a warm welcome at the airport and Jamiat uz Zahra - a home to all of us in Qum, we were excitingly waiting for, firstly, the Ziyarat of the holy Shrine of Hazrat e Masuma (s.a) and secondly, with her barakah, to begin the mentor development program (MDP). Alhamdulillah, we had a good rest before we started the next day in full swing.

In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent and the Most Merciful.
I would like to start off by thanking Allah (SWT) for granting me this opportunity to embark upon this trip of a lifetime.

The privilege of being able to do the ziyarat of Bibi Masooma (AS) and Imam Raza (AS) is an honour in itself, but adding to that the role of a mentor, and being able to impact the lives of our youth for the better, added another dimension to my experience of this trip.
