The Khoja Shia Ithna-Asheri Mosque in Kilwa is about 102 years old. Most of our community members from Kilwa moved to Lindi and some to Dar es Salaam about 50 years ago as the economic conditions worsened. Presently there is not a single member of our community left in Kilwa.

The World Federation of KSIMC is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the position of a full-time administration and secretarial support based in their Stanmore office.
Those interested in applying should have experience in office management and should work well individually and within a team. The candidate should have excellent communications skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Applicants should be available to work weekdays 9am-5pm and also be able to adopt a flexible working policy to work alongside Office Bearers as needed.

The Chairman of the Central Bilal Board (CBB), Alhaj Mohsin Lalji, also popularly known by the name of Sheni, led a delegation of Bilal Muslim Mission of Tanzania to Kenya.
Fourteen years have passed since the passing away of Mulla Asgharali M M Jaffer. Yet his memory is as fresh as ever and oftentimes, he remains the subject of discussion by the Community and especially those who worked so closely with him at The World Federation for over 3 decades.
